Myers Nelson Dillon & Shierk was formed in 1999 by former members of one of Michigan's largest law firms who together have more than 100 years' experience. Today we have six lawyers practicing in our offices in the Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills and Grand Rapids, in West Michigan. All of our lawyers have substantial large-firm experience.

We are regularly involved in complex business transactions, real estate acquisition, development, leasing, financing and sale-leasebacks in the residential, commercial, industrial, retail, office, and telecommunications industry, corporate mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and financings, and corporate compliance and audit programs.  We represent our clients in commercial litigation and arbitrations of all types, grand jury and corporate investigations, and the defense of white-collar crimes. Our clients are a mix of individuals and privately- and publicly-owned businesses, including banks, REITs and other institutional lenders, manufacturing companies, real estate developers and owners, and regional and national retailers.

Our objectives are to represent our clients with the same expertise and thoroughness expected of large law firms, yet with the timeliness of service, focus and lower costs of a smaller firm. Technology gives us access to resources that in the past were available only to the largest firms in the country. We draw on this, in combination with the collective experience and energy of the firm's lawyers, to provide clients high-quality legal representation at a reasonable price.
