Ms. Shierk's practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate development with an emphasis on condominium law, as well as other forms of community property development.  She is a member of the Real Property Law Section Council of the Michigan State Bar and currently serves as Secretary of the Council.  Ms. Shierk is also past chair of the Council's committee for Condominiums, Co-ops and PUDs.  Ms. Shierk is a frequent lecturer on a variety of real estate related topics and has authored numerous articles and a book chapter used by attorneys and others for their continuing legal education.
